Appointment Scheduling Information

1. To be seen at the Allegheny Prostate Center, please call 412-281-1757, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
   
   
2. The Prostate Center is scheduling patients for appointments on most Mondays between 2 and 5 p.m. and most Fridays between 8 and 10 a.m.
   
   
3. The Prostate Center is located on the Fourth Floor of the Allegheny Cancer Center, the five-story facility that is attached to the back portion of Allegheny General Hospital. Patients may park in the James Street Garage and take the pedestrian walkway to the Cancer Center.
   
   

1. All pertinent medical records, including operative reports, X-ray reports and pertinent office records, particularly PSA reports.
   
   
2. Copies of actual films from your bone scan, CT scan, and MRI scan, if these have been done.
   
   
3. Pathology slides and reports.
   
   
4. A significant other or a friend you trust. It always helps to have a second set of ears and another person to ask questions.
   
   
5. A tape recorder, if you so wish, so you can go back and listen to the discussion if needed.
